Description

Retyar Venon gets more than he bargained for when he becomes a security guard for a supposedly defunct R&D lab that turns out to house a top secret time travel machine. While trying to stop a mad scientist from altering history, he gets himself thrown hundreds of years into his world's past. Stranded with no way home, Retyar must choose between altering the timeline himself or doing his best to stay out of history's way. Unfortunately for him, he's landed in the Aristocracy of Leverie--a country on a path towards civil war and in the way of the expanding Vron Empire. And the very day he arrives turns out to be one of the sparks kindling the conflict between Crenden Arzan of House Redleaf and Crenden Thrake of House Leverie. The two men stand in a generational feud, increasingly complicated by national politics, family relationships, and news from beyond their borders. Added into the mix is Charva Leverie, Thrake's daughter--a free spirit with an eye for her father's city throne. Ambitiously hoping to turn her homeland into the jewel of the continent, she is more than willing to befriend Thrake's enemies. As plots develop, however, they will all find that there are hidden schemes they did not anticipate, as well as factors that threaten to shake the world itself.

Get ready to dive into the first entry in a sci-fi fantasy epic where past, present, and future collide, and things are not as simple as anyone imagines.
