Shipping and Return Policies
Shipping:
- Products from Love & Lore Bookstore can be shipped from any of 4 warehouses from our supplier.
- The warehouse that will ship your order is dependent first on the location closest to the delivery address, and second on stock availability.
- Depending on inventory, your order could ship out from multiple locations, however we do our best to ship everything together.
- Orders typically ship within 48 hours, but the shipping time frame depends on the shipping method you chose at checkout.
- Love & Lore Bookstore is not responsible for any delays once your package is shipped. Unfortunately we have no control over the package once it is in the Carrier’s hands.
- Once your package is shipped you will receive a tracking number via email.
- In the event of a lost package, we will do everything we can to help resolve the issue. If your package says it has been delivered but you did not receive it, we’d ask that you first contact the carrier and file a claim with them for a lost package. If there is no resolution, we will either refund your order, or re-ship it.
Returns:
- We stand by our products. If you receive an item in less than perfect condition, or an item is damaged, we will supply a return label and replace the item free of charge within 10 days. Once we receive notification that your return has been sent back, we will ship out the replacement. If you do not wish to receive a replacement, we will refund the order, minus shipping costs.
- If you wish to return a damaged item after the 10 day window, we will issue a store credit for the amount of the item, and we will supply you with a return label for the damaged item.
- All other returns will be accepted within 30 days of purchase as long as they are in perfect condition meaning:
- No rips, tears, or creases in the cover or pages. Hardcover books must still have their sleeve on them. No markings on the items, such as with pens, pencils, markers, or highlighters. No water damage, or stains.
- Returns within 30 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund, excluding shipping costs.
- If you wish to return items after 30 days from purchase, please contact us. We will decide whether we can still accept the return on a case by case basis. Any items returned during this time will only be eligible for store credit, not a refund. You will also be responsible for shipping the items back to us.
- Returns will not be accepted after 60 days.
Order Cancellations:
You may request a cancellation within an hour of placing your order. Unfortunately once we submit the order with our warehouse, we are unable to cancel it.
