Despite Liz having to share her business with her ex-husband, she continues to keep a tight rein on things, so everything runs smoothly. That is until her great-grandfather, Alexander, passes away and leaves her his house in Scotland, with the stipulation that she must live in the house for 3 months before she can sell.
