About the Author
Stanley, Patsy: - About the author: Born in Appalachia, my family moved to Michigan when I was a child. Around thirty, I moved to Texas and soon encountered a Babaguru teacher. In an initiation in the '80's, I was assigned to write a book on atomic structure, which I knew nothing about. Twenty years later, I published six non-fiction metaphysical books on atomic structure with a former nuclear physicist as my advisor. After I was introduced to psychodrama, an intense, emotional enactment therapy method, I studied and worked in counseling and held energy workshops for over 30 years. During that time, I began writing psychodrama enactment skits. Some of the skits became the stories in my illustrated Christmas book, Christmas Stories From the Crones Castle. To expand spiritual experiences, I participated in Ogalala Souix traditions, sweat lodge, vision quest, Fire Keeper and Sun Dancer, and wrote The Green Mountain Shaman and Red Leaf based on my experiences. My first novel, Emerald Hawks Flight, became a release from childhood memories. Emerald's coming of age story opened the door to more novels, children's books, and short stories. I use a wider spacing in my books, as it makes them easier to read. I am very grateful to my readers. They tell me that my stories are factual, funny, or romantic, intense, emotional, and contain magic. I have 3 grands and two great grands, and continue writing, for it is my bliss to do so.
