“Allow us to show you how much better we are for you than he ever was,” she grabbed my wrist and pulled me over to the bed, “On your back, Doll,”
“You come at me again like you did last night and I will not hesitate to bury myself so far inside of you, you forget Darrell ever existed, do you understand me?”

Who am I?
My name is D. Raelyn and I am a dark romance,
indie author in Kansas City, KS! I am a mom of
three, wife, and preschool teacher who
struggles with ADHD, anxiety and depression.
I am an avid reader myself, love chocolate chip
cookies, iced coffee, Redbull and own a tattoo
gun that I frequently use on myself!
I started writing way back in high school when
I discovered it helped with my anxiety and
depression. It started out as random little short
stories until one day Amellia and Darrell were
born! From then on, I knew this would be
something special and thus the Into the Night
Series began!
What I Write:
I strive to be as inclusive as possible in my
writing. Most of what I read features characters
who are straight, white, slim or muscular,
wealthy, and hold high-profile jobs. While there's
nothing inherently wrong with that, I aim to
represent a broader spectrum of people. My
stories include characters from the LGBTQIA+
community, various ethnicities and cultures,
diverse lifestyles, languages, body types,
disabilities, education levels, and economic
backgrounds. Even though I write dirty fiction, I
want everyone to feel seen and know that they
are important. I also love writing strong female
leads because women are often portrayed as
weak damsels in distress. As a woman myself, I
know that's far from the truth
