One half-tail is safely locked away in jail; another is starting seventh grade. A quiet summer for half-tail hero Dolby Hart and his whitetail deer friends lulls them into a false sense of security. Even his relationship with the Windmaster has grown cold. The threat to destroy the deer of small-town Gomer is surely over. Or is it?
