A Time to Weep, A Time to Laugh

It is World War II and Geny's fianc has left to fight overseas. After he is gone, however, she discovers something unexpected: she is pregnant, and in the 1940s, out-of-wedlock births are not acceptable. Her only choice is to hide the pregnancy and wait for her fianc to return. But some soldiers never come home and Geny just can't raise this baby on her own.
