Mac Klein had made a series of disciplined life choices. He was now thirty years old and a successful professional athlete. He lived in a beautiful mansion in Seattle with plenty of room to surround himself with family and friends. He devoted all his time and energy to his career, and he had no interest in starting a serious relationship with a woman.

He certainly would never think of looking up his childhood crush on social media so he could contact her in an effort to reconnect. Mac would never do that. He wasn't even the social media type. Mac became a successful athlete in the NFL. Morgan had been married to another star NFL player, but he tragically passed, leaving her the single mother of a young girl. Mac was too focused on his career to ever consider a relationship, but thankfully his sister was pushy enough to set the wheels in motion. When Mac and Morgan finally reconnect, the embers of those childhood flames quickly grow into a romance that was truly destined to happen.
